With "GBOARD" - the new on-screen keyboard by Google - the competition from the iOS camp was supplied initially before is now also entering the Android update. However, the development of "Google Keyboard" brings in version 6.0 not only a new name, but also an extensive list of useful innovations.
is striking in particular, the new G-Button, which serves as a shortcut to the Google search. The result is displayed in the keyboard area, so that the open application need not be completed. Also new is the GIF integration for older devices - so far the feature worked only on Android 7.1. However, inserting GIFs is blocked by some Apps, accordingly, the corresponding button is inactive in some cases. In addition, Google donated the keyboard, Emoji search - in the overwhelming number of different smileys and symbols a welcome addition.
