Many songs offered on the network are available in Windows Media format WMA, which is not really ideal for the Mac. But with a few little tricks and tools, the WMA files suitable for Mac can do, so you can play them with QuickTime or iTunes (also on the iPod and so).
So Mac users can play downloaded Windows Media files on Mac, it requires additional software. The solutions will only work if the DRM / license settings WMA files allow. We want to introduce you to two free ways you play WMA (or WMV) files either QuickTime or convert easily to MP3 and you can import them into iTunes.
Option 1: WMA with QuickTime play with Flip4Mac
With the free QuickTime plugin Flip4Mac it is possible to play the Windows Media files WMA and WMV with QuickTime. The plugin, which was developed in cooperation with Microsoft, brings it with the necessary codec. Otherwise, Windows Media files can of course with the Mac version of the VLC player to play.

Option 2: WMA to MP3 with All2MP3
The freeware All2MP3 You can convert any music files via drag and drop to MP3. So we simply subtract the appropriate files into the program window and even selects the quality.
