Yesterday, the City of New York launched a photography contest called #loveNYC, encouraging all of you mobile photographers to submit a photo that shows why you love our great city.
We think it is a great idea, and the winning prize is pretty amazing. First, submit your photo via Facebook by April 7, 2012. The judges will then select 10 photos that you, the general public, will vote on. The winning image will be featured on the City of New York’s social media sites as well as a screen in Times Square! Additionally, the photographer might become the official Instagramer for a day!
NYC is the creative capital of the world and we can’t wait to see why you #loveNYC through your Instagrams!
