NY Minute is a weekly segment where we speak with an out-of-towner visiting New York City to learn a little bit more about them.

This week’s NY Minute features one of the first people I became acquainted with on Instagram when it launched back in October 2010, a truly O.G. Instagrammer. She stopped over in NYC for a few days and we were lucky enough to meet up. Ladies and gentlemen without further ado, the wonderful and eccentric @love2snap (aka Jess)!

Where do you originally hail from?

ohh hail, I’m coming in from Orlando, FL!

What brings you to NYC?

Fleeing my bubble in Orlando, seeking creative inspiration, and rebelling a tiny bit.

Something you MUST do before you leave?

Meet the NYC instagram crew! (class of October 2010 haaa!!) Do a coffee tasting at Think Coffee, and also want to (or have someone)…setup an IG feed called, “IG Afterdark” and post nightclub pictures. You wouldn’t believe some people. “Club IG” We could get sponsors! Lol

Had the chance to meet any local Instagrammers during your stay?

yes!! @takinyerphoto, @tdifeo, @sgoralnick, and @bridif. I also met some “instagram curious” types at McNally bookstore in SoHo.
